Wetlands Reserve Program
To assist landowners in restoring and protecting wetlands on eligible lands on which they agree to enter into a permanent or 30- yearlong-term easement (30- year contract for Indian tribes) , or a restoration cost-share agreement with the Secretary. The goal of WRP is to maximize wetland functions and values and wildlife benefits on every acre enrolled in the program.

Supplemental Revenue Assistance Program
The objective of the SURE program is to provide financial assistance for farm revenue losses due to natural disaster. Assistance is provided from the Agricultural Disaster Relief Trust Fund (Trust Fund) established under Public Law 110-246.

Payments in Lieu of Taxes
To compensate local taxing units (usually County governments) for the loss of taxes from Federally-owned and acquired lands. Payment amounts are determined by several codified formulas (U.S.C. 6901-6907) and is designed to supplement other Federal land revenue sharing payments that local units may be receiving.
